WEED, ACB, and APH getting ready for fall run?

ll three are showing some interesting (and similar) signals if you subscribe to technical analysis. To be honest if you don't enough people do that it generates its own results. Things are getting incredibly tight for all 3 stocks. phria for example closed at 5.95, 50 day moving average support is 5.89 and 200 moving average 5.87. Bollenger bands tightening to 6.10 and 5.78. WEED finally closed above a strong 12 touch trend line on Thursday. It is pushing (slowly) towards 9.05 resistance and price action is starting to show a nice steady long-term uptrend. CB has seen similar tightening and is pushing upwards as well. MCD lines are about cross for all 3 stocks and it could happen for all 3 tommorow. This has been an excellent indicator for bullish action for these 3 stocks. Bollenger bands have significantly constricted for all 3 stocks. fter constriction there will be an expansion which means higher volatility (upwards or downwards)... PH, CB bands are getting tighter and Canopy's upper band is starting to lift which is bullish but still early. To be clear. Not saying you will be rich tommorow. I am saying we are propably in early stages of the sector lifting and will be lead by the big 3. Is it really a surprise, the hive mind has decided fall is the time for the sector to rise. submitted by /u/looks_like_salami [link] [comments]

Newbie Question About Market Value and Stock Price

ello, ow much money in profit would a company need to make in order to have their stock price rise and does market value mean anything in regards to the stock price? For example, let's say Company A is worth 1 billion dollars and they currently are not making any profits because they're building their inventory, making deals, etc. Would this company need to make significant profits to raise their value and stock price? Now, I assume all stocks are rising because of the news. So, what happens when legalization finally happens? I assume it stock price will rise a lot and correct itself to some extent..but when would a stock price begin to rise based on their profits and not news? For some reason I'm worried now with the stocks I bought. I want to hold long term and not buy and sell on news. So, in time I'm hoping they will rise..but who's to say legalization will happen 2018...could be a delay...I don't want to put any more than I have in, which is about 12k. Please me kind with responses. I'm just trying to learn. submitted by /u/Mattman3010 [link] [comments]

ondering your thoughts on the Cannabis slide that's going on lately. This industry is anything but sick so my guess is that it has something to do with politics? Yield per plant

was reading the rehashed operational update from Maricann and they're happy to announce a yield of 79 grams per plant. Tweed had an average of 800 grams per plant (October harvest), so 10 times more: Harvested 5,264 kilograms in the quarter. The greenhouse summer harvest in October produced yields ranging from 300 grams to 2,900 grams per plant, with a weighted average yield of over 800 grams per plant") Source: 17Q3 MD&A Does anybody have numbers for other LPs? remember Aphria had a lower yield due to a light decrease at Leamington (dutch greenhouse) but don't have the number in grams per plants. don't even know how many plants they have. Also do you have any idea why the numbers are so different? My guess is that it depends on the strains they used, but that's a big difference. submitted by /u/skyfallboom [link] [comments]

Conspiracy Theory: WTF is up with Buzz Capital? $BUZ.P

owdy Weedstocks! Apologies for the text diarrhea Although a long time investor in this field, I am obviously still new in the stock market game in general and still have alot to learn about different corporate structures so hoping we can all help each other out a bit. owever I do LOVE reading and researching and I have an incognito twitter feed that follows a lot of high players in the weed game so I thought i would share the following with you. I obviously follow Chuck Rifici since about 2 years ago when i first invested in WEED, so I was very interested when i noticed he started a new Capital Pool? (not really sure what this is) recently called Buzz Capital $BUZ.P (e has yet to post anything about this company on his twitter btw) I have been fucking burned by Chuck ($CBW) but he has helped me make money before when i followed him previously (WEED, Aurora, and Supreme) so naturally my interest is still piqued when his name is involved because i still think he is a well connected individual (he was the CFO of the Liberal Party of Canada after all) Anyways so I looked into this new capital pool company with a market cap of less than 2 million! and i noticed some VERY interesting facts! The Pool has 3 Directors: Besides Chuck the other Directors are LORNE GERTNER who is the cofounder (money behind) TOKYO SMOKE and the CEO's father. The other Director is BRETT WILSON from DRAGONS DEN who has made many investments in the legal weed space. These three names alone together in a Capital Pool company with a market cap of less than 2 million is mind boggling to me. In addition to the 3 directors Buzz has two more escrow shareholder groups, one of which includes JON FOWLER and NAV DALIWAL, The CEO and Director of SUPREME! The other escrow group has UGO ALVES a well known lawyer in the weed industry. The press release where you can confirm this information is here: Conspiracy Theory: Buzz Capital is actually NESTA OLDINGS, a private company that has existed for quite some time. The reason I think this is because its the only company of Chuck's that is private, and Lorne Gertner noted that he was involved in Nesta in this Maclean's article from April: Arguments supporting my theory: If you look on Sedar under the business email section it shows the contact info as Also, on this press release: It shows that Chuck Rifici is the president of Buzz Capital and someone named Tammie Brown is the Director of Corporate Services at extension #3. If you call the number listed 613-239-0531 the machine answers as Nesta oldings and it says to contact director Tammie Brown at extension #3!!!!!!!!!! Anyways sorry about the huge text wall but I am an average guy who is very interested in this space and I figure I want to share this info with you guys to see if we can figure this out and make some money together! Final thoughts: Not ONE of the individuals mentioned above have made ANY mention of Buzz Capital on their social media accounts, not a single one! I suggest we bring this up with Alan Gertner (Lorne's son and Tokyo Smoke's CEO during the AMA tomorrow) Let me know what you guys think! ***UPDATE my post has existed for 1 hour yet someone/something is flooding the comments with downvotes while contributing nothing wtf is going on submitted by /u/BreadTit [link] [comments]

GLH Announces Closing of Bridge Loan & Conversion of Debentures

abour Day is over. et's have some fun. No one wanted to post the Q2 here a few days ago. Directors putting money in...getting more skin in the game. One director putting in money to fund a greenhouse directly. This is my yolo play right now and I'd love for this zombie of a company to rise from disgrace. SOURCE: Golden eaf Holdings td. Golden eaf Holdings td. September 05, 2017 08:00 ET Golden eaf Announces Closing of Bridge oan and Conversion of Debentures Company receives business license allowing sale into adult-use cannabis market in Sparks and other Nevada markets TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - September 05, 2017) - NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO UNITED STATES NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES Golden eaf Holdings td. ("GH" or the "Company") (CSE: GH) (CSE: GH.CN) (CNSX: GH) (OTCQB: GDFF), a leading cannabis oil solutions company built around recognized brands, today announced that it has closed its previously announced bridge loan and has received proceeds of C$2,000,000 (the "Bridge oans"). Directors of the Company contributed C$800,000 to the Bridge oans. The Bridge oans will be due on January 31, 2018 and bear interest at the rate of 5%. Parties participating in the Bridge oans were issued 952 common share purchase warrants (the "Bridge Warrants") for each C$1,000 principal amount lent. Each Bridge Warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one Common Share at a price of C$0.21 per Common Share for a period of two years following the closing of the Bridge oans, subject to adjustment in certain events. The exercise price on the Bridge Warrants was reduced from that previously announced in order to ensure the full participation of the lenders. The net proceeds of the Bridge oans will be used for general corporate purposes. In addition, the Company is pleased to announce that it has secured conversion of 95% of the remaining outstanding convertible debentures of the Company issued in March 2016 and that were due on September 11, 2017. An aggregate principal amount of C$4,526,000, including C$1,266,000 held by directors of the Company, has been converted (or been irrevocably committed to be converted) into Common Shares at an amended price of C$0.21 per Common Share, resulting in a strengthened balance sheet and a significant conservation of the Company's working capital. The Company agreed to an amended exercise price in order to secure conversions of such debentures prior to their maturity. Approximately 21,552,380 Common Shares will be issued to the holders of such converted debentures. Mr. William Simpson, Chief Executive Officer of Golden eaf, commented, "We are pleased to secure these funds to support Golden eaf's implementation of its growth strategy in the fast-growing, emerging legal cannabis market. The Company plans to utilize the proceeds to continue the build-out of our three new Chalice Farms dispensaries and to expand our wholesale inventory in Oregon, as we work to establish a strong brand portfolio, business model and infrastructure to support sustainable top-line sales growth. Directors in the Company have contributed personal funds to support Golden eaf's capital raising efforts as a signal of our confidence in the opportunity before us. We will continue to instill a culture that prioritizes financial discipline and accountability across the business." Mr. Simpson concluded, "Separate to this round of funding, Director Gary Zipfel, has directly committed to fund the completion of the Company's greenhouse facility in Portland, Oregon, the cost of which is estimated to be in excess of US$600,000, further demonstrating management's dedication to Golden eaf's success." Separately, the Company has also announced that it has received a business license that allows it to sell into the adult-use market in the city of Sparks, Nevada. The license also enables Golden eaf to sell into any other jurisdiction that does not require a separate business license. The Company made its first sale to a Sparks customer last week and currently has over US$40,000 of orders scheduled for delivery this week. The Company remains in the process of applying for licenses to sell into other jurisdictions that require a separate license, including Reno and as Vegas. Tweed Mainstreet Data Easter Egg

ust noticed something while looking up the Assurance Reports for a product on Tweed Mainstreet. It's only one part of the dataset as it doesn't show quantity but what it does show is exactly how long any one lot has been sitting on the shelves. If someone wants to track this/PR mentions of harvests it could be a good indicator of individual product uptake/interest. Go to and click on "View Quality Assurance Report" on any of the available product pages. Their oil and capsules are flying off the shelves as they release them but much of the flower at various price points is sitting for longer. Sample strains that are sitting longer than expected at various price points are below, the oils and caps are all released within last 7 days except for the ones noted below.
