Cannabis & Hemp Stocks - Pump and Dump

Any thoughts on $ERBB?
() They've apparently just come out with something new, and truthfully it seems to be insanely interesting: Not to mention, the price couldn't be more attractive ( ) Although, I do get a bit of a pump and dump feeling from the listing. Thoughts? submitted by /u/Little-Jellyfish [link] [comments]

(News, Research) A couple of months ago, there was quite a lot of discussion in this subreddit about OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. based in Petach Tikva, Israel. The discussions were both positive and negative, although I feel there were more people supporting OWCP. In mid Feb, the price surged from $0.60 to around $3.00, without much news. And now the price is back to the pre-surge price of $0.60's. Was this a pump and dump coordinated by many reddit accounts, to make it appear that this is a very good company? submitted by /u/WhoRuleTheWorld [link] [comments]

(Fertilizer, Products) I posted earlier about that. Is this a pump and dump? They have a website, real products and are getting into fertilizer. Any DD would be appreciated. I sold my position out of fear but seeing it be more stable makes me wonder if that was a good move or not. Thanks submitted by /u/bluto521 [link] [comments]

First time investor, got into weedstocks in Feb. 2017. What you should know as a weedstocks investor.
(Investing, Investors, Pot Stocks, Pharmaceuticals) I've been following pot stocks since the start of this year. I'm just a 21 yr old college kid who's been staring at the market the past 4-5 months. I'm NOT in that deep like some of you, maybe a little more than the first timer. I've noticed a lot of things in that time. Granted, I'm young and still have much to learn when it comes to money, the economy and stocks as well. I just thought I would share the things I've noticed. First off, if you're a US investor and not following @WolfofWeedSt on Twitter, do that now. Also head over to (he runs that site) call him a glorified pump and dumper all you want, but around early March I was watching him talk/tweet all about InMed Pharmaceuticals. (at the time 25 cents) I was a vajj and bought 100 shares at 28 cents. Foolishly sold at 45 cents, just to watch it hit a high of .70 two days later and come back down to .52 close today. I sold half my position at 45 cents and put it elsewhere. I've come to the conclusion that he...

() I swear I'm not trying to be a pumper, but someone please explain to me how $FITX is a pump and dump. Would a company really go this far to just be a scam? I just cannot fathom that a company would spend so much money on a facility for it just to be a scam. Maybe me being in love with this stock is just making me turn a blind eye to obvious things but I want someone's opinion on this. I am a fairly new investor and do not have experience with old pump and dump schemes, so if anyone can give me an example or a couple examples on pumps me dumps from the past I would highly appreciate that. Disclosure: I am long $FITX and I am in love with this stock submitted by nuke691 [link] [comment]

MINE being pumped again?
() I can't find any PR or other reasons for it, I have some left over from last month that I was stuck with hoping to go green again. It went up 43% today (As of me posting this). Anyone have any legit news or is this just another Pump and Dump cycle? submitted by KillerRabbit20 [link] [2 comments]

I'm sick of people saying this industry is only a pump and dump scheme.
(Tobacco) I've been invested in ganja stocks since January of last year. Pump and dumps don't last for a year. The amount of money I have invested in this industry has increased by over 700% in the last year. Albeit there are definitely a lot of different stocks that do follow the trend of pump and dumping, but I feel that a majority of companies are legitimate and have plenty of potential to grow. This industry is the future of investing, and though most companies will be bought out from big pharma/ tobacco companies, some will prosper. We need to take advantage of that now. I just hate the negativity I see about some of these stocks. When I make recommendations to people about getting in this industry, it's not like I promote the stocks that I have. Take advantage of the quantity of the stock that you can load up on. I've noticed the people that lose the most money are the ones who only get like 100 shares of stocks like MDBX or other stocks that are worth more than 20 bucks a share. Buy a...

CBYI - One more chance to get in cheap
(Information) This may sound like I'm "pumping" this stock but I'm really just analyzing this pump and dump to see if I can play it correctly, and am providing this information for anyone else who wants to take a gamble. This company recently changed owners to Walter Nicholas in Colorado. Their website looks like a piece of garbage but plans to launch 3/26, on Wednesday. A site was registered, and was connected to Walter Nicholas Today, another site was registered , and was also connected to Walter Nicholas Since the ownership change, a lot of buzz has been on the boards about if it was going to enter the MJ market, and with the two new site registrations, it appears it will. Today was the first pump, I'm guessing tomorrow people will try to get in before the website launch which may be coupled with a PR. This could either be a legitimate company trying to...

Why You Should Buy MCIG Right Now
(Cannabis, Cannabis, Drinks, Production, Vaporizers) MCIG just took a bit dive, but is rebounding extremely quickly. This is a perfect time to get in, because this seems to be the lowest price that you'll get MCIG from now on. So, this is the best possible time to buy MCIG, you're timing the market, etc. But seriously, MCIG is going to rebound by the end of today to buy literally right now. Skim this post and buy ASAP. It may be too late, I don't know, but check as fast as you can. Now, on to why it's a good stock. There are tons of companies that try to sell marijuana or drinks or something like that, but MCIG sells a cigarette shaped vaporizer for marijuana. Remember, almost everyone who tried to get rich during the gold rush lost money, but the people who sold them pick axes, jeans (Levi's), and shovels made a killing. In the "green rush," MCIG is selling the shovels and jeans. Next, they're the only company that has made a cigarette shaped vaporizer that actually works with marijuana. That's a huge deal. They actually have a working...

Long Vs Short and camps (which one are you)
(Cannabis, Cannabis) After reading over this site to the point of exhaustion along with many other sources Its clear to me that our camps are broken down into two major categories. Those who laugh at the prospects of these penny stocks in terms of going long and those who are taking the short, pump and dump outlook, largely looking at these stock as pump scams that they might as well cash in on in the short term; some doing both long and short. My approach is in between, taking profits when they come but keeping my initial investment intact for the long term to see how it all plays out. I'd like to hear from people who are short or long, with what stock, and why. Also, do you feel marijuana will be legalized within the next 5-10 years? If and when it's legalized what are your rough estimates for some of these pioneering penny stocks that are as of right now, the first companies on the bottom floor (ground floor) of what appears to be a revolution. If you're one of those people who thinks MJNA, PHOT, CBIS...

A Comprehensive Guide to $FITX and Why I Think You Should Invest
(Cannabis, Cannabis, Deals, Financing, Growing, Hemp, Hemp, Hemp, Medical Marijuana, Production, Supplements, Testing, Tobacco, Websites, Lab Testing, THC, Security) First, here is a comprehensive report of $FITX that I have put together from various articles online from press releases, Facebook posts, and Bill's interview with Alan Brochstein (420investor). Next, at the bottom, I have complied a short and concise list of reasons why I think FITX is a good buy for those of you lazy readers and to sum up what's written in my story. I made this for my friends and family, so I thought I would share this on reddit, as well, as this forum has been quite insightful. I am fairly new to the stock market and have only had experience with "weed stocks" for about a month so far, but I have been doing a lot of research and enjoy doing it and have made a decent amount of money (I am a college student). Do your own DD, and let me know what you think of mine, enjoy. The Complete Story of FITX Bill Chabaan is the CEO of the company FITX, Creative Edge Nutrition, or CEN Biotech. Bill is a licensed attorney in Michigan and Ontario, he first got into the nutrition...

FINRA Warns Investors of Marijuana Stock Scams
(Cannabis, Cannabis, Education, Information, Medical Marijuana, Pot Stocks) August 20, 2013 WASHINGTON—The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) issued a new Investor Alert called Marijuana Stock Scams to warn investors about potential related scams. Medical marijuana is legal in almost 20 states, and recreational use of the drug was recently legalized in two states. As a result, the cannabis business has been getting a lot of attention – including the attention of scammers. Like many investment scams, pitches for marijuana stocks may arrive in a variety of ways – from faxes to email or text message invitations, to webinars, infomercials, tweets or blog posts. The con artists behind marijuana stock scams may try to entice investors with optimistic and potentially false and misleading information that in turn creates unwarranted demand for shares of small, thinly traded companies that often have little or no history of financial success. The scammers behind these "pump and dump" scams can then sell off their shares, leaving investors with worthless...

Temporary Hiatus
(Cannabis, Cannabis, Pot Stocks) Thank you to those folks who have emailed regarding the infrequency of updates to the website in recent months. Most have been very appreciative of our past efforts. After nearly three years of posting news on marijuana stocks and related developments we have indeed taken a hiatus of sorts. It was not intentional. It's simply that to do this well, in an unbiased non-promotional manor, became a time consuming process and recent months have not allowed for the time required. It's not for a lack of news. There's always plenty of news to report. And there is certainly no shortage of news releases from most publicly traded companies in this area to aggregate. We expect that will only increase. While we're away, be aware that unfortunately in the pinks, there are those who will hang their hat on an area of interest with no intentions of conducting legitimate business and only selling shares into an anxious marketplace. Always do your own due diligence before investing and beware of pump and...
