Who's Raised The Most $$$? A Discussion In Leg Work
I am going to start by breaking down APH but would love the community to contribute. I think that the market in general does not understand how much capital has been already raised by the big 3 to date. There is mind-blowing amounts of capital already injected into these companies, that there really should be no stopping them once cash flow starts pouring in.The amount of time it would take for companies in other countries to raise any decent sum of money and build out, the big 3 will already be eating their lunch. Chime in but here's my knowledge of Aphria's raises, based on closing dates: Raises/Bought Deals: Aug 18 2016 - $34,500,000 Nov 11 2016 - $35,000,00 Feb 24 2017 - $57,500,000 Apr 17 2017 - $100,000,000 Nov 7 2017 - $92,000,144 Jan 3 2018 - $115,000,201 Total = $434 Million + Nuuvera Raises/Bought Deals $70,000,000 Seed Financing $20,000,000 Raise $52,000,000 Final Bought Deal Before Being Acquired Total = $144 Million GRAND TOTAL FOR APHRIA & APHRIA INTERNATIONAL = $578... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8lkzta/whos_raised_the_most_a_discu...

Invictus MD (TSXV: GENE) - Napkin math and undervalued?
First of all, this company does not have a ridiculous valuation, and is one of three LPs with a sales license in Alberta (the others being Aurora, and Sundial). Alberta is very important as it allows for PRIVATE RETAIL vs. the government owned monopolies of Quebec and Ontario. This allows licensed producers there to get more margin and net profit. Why am I long? January to May 2018 Milestones Completed: Canopy Growth (TSX: WEED) and AB Labs (50% owned by Invictus) partnership secured and product successfully sold. AB Labs Sales license secured, ownership increased to 50%, further expansion in place to 4,600 kg at Hamilton location. Current sales capacity will be $11.5 million at AB Labs. Acreage Pharms Phase 2 Completed (Current production capacity is now 3200 kg of low-cost high quality indoor cannabis). Current sales capacity is thus $16 million at Acreage Pharms. Acreage Pharms sales license also secured, oils application in place. Poda Vape completed development and is valuable... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8l75u8/invictus_md_tsxv_gene_napkin...

U.S. panel deals blow to Philip Morris tobacco device
Philip Morris International Inc (PM.N) should not be allowed to claim its iQOS electronic tobacco product is less risky than cigarettes, U.S. health advisers said on Thursday, dealing a blow to the company as it seeks to strengthen its portfolio of alternative nicotine devices. The recommendation is not binding and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration could still allow Philip Morris to make such a claim, but some analysts think the agency might ask for additional data first. Philip Morris, which has spent more than $3 billion to develop products that can counteract the decline in traditional cigarette sales, said it was encouraged by some of the committee members' comments that iQOS may have risk-reduction potential. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/u-panel-rejects-most-philip-185529931.html?.tsrc=...

Thoughts on Aurora.
I'm trying to act like my own Maruijana ETF, but I want to go big on one of the big ones. I like Auroras expansive deals in Europe, consider them for this. At least for a couple of years until Greece, Germany, Italy, Australia, denmark, those who'll get in on the ball, gets up their own productions. But that's more of a gamble than stable medical maruijana in Canada or being well prepared for the big bang in July. Any thoughts on this? [Reboot] Market Analysis
So I finally got around to updating this thing again. Market Analysis - Sales Required to Justify Current Stock Price/Market Cap/Future Earnings Figured all these recent developments warranted it. I've added a few LPs, adjusted the production capacity of the private LPs, and added some more bells and whistles. I've also created a new demand forecast based on the extrapolation of New Brunswick's demand countrywide. It's pretty simple: 36.29M Canadians / 756,800 New Brunswickers * 9M (combined size of deals with Canopy and Organigram). I'll be recalculating this forecast as new provincial deals are inked. Interesting to note that the ~431M that would presumably be bought if all provinces maintained the same population to buy amount ratio comes out to only 58.2% of the demand I've forecasted in the past. Speaking of which, here are the previous posts I've made on the figures in this spreadsheet (background for you newbies): Production Costs Demand Original If anyone has any suggestions... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/71flwu/reboot_market_analysis_sales...

Newbie Question About Market Value and Stock Price
Hello, How much money in profit would a company need to make in order to have their stock price rise and does market value mean anything in regards to the stock price? For example, let's say Company A is worth 1 billion dollars and they currently are not making any profits because they're building their inventory, making deals, etc. Would this company need to make significant profits to raise their value and stock price? Now, I assume all stocks are rising because of the news. So, what happens when legalization finally happens? I assume it stock price will rise a lot and correct itself to some extent..but when would a stock price begin to rise based on their profits and not news? For some reason I'm worried now with the stocks I bought. I want to hold long term and not buy and sell on news. So, in time I'm hoping they will rise..but who's to say legalization will happen 2018...could be a delay...I don't want to put any more than I have in, which is about 12k. Please me kind with... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/6ybrop/newbie_question_about_market...

An actual discussion of CannaRoyalty – the pros and cons
Just giving some stuff for everyone to think about as yesterday’s ‘discussion’ wasn't really a discussion. It’s evident not many people understand this company, so hopefully this sheds some light on wtf this company does as well as its prospects and risks. I'll try to answer most questions. Tl;dr: CRZ’s business model allows them to acquire equity and royalty positions on high quality US assets at attractive valuations. The company already has a serious portfolio of assets (realistically, some are probably duds) with a) structures ranging from 100% ownership to minority equity to convertible debt to royalties on gross revenue and b) geographic position in the majority of US medical + adult-use markets. Its asset base MAY support a valuation much higher than current levels; however, determining a net asset value (NAV) and valuations for each investment is far too difficult for the average investor (also why they don’t have any analyst coverage). Further, there are many risks to the... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/6ilnz2/an_actual_discussion_of_cann...

Exclusive: Lockheed nears $37 billion-plus deal to sell F-35 jet to 11 countries
This would be the biggest deal yet for the stealthy F-35 jet, set to make its Paris Airshow debut this week. The sale represents a major shift in sales practices from annual purchases to more economic multi-year deals that lower the cost of each jet. The pricing of the jets was still not final, although the average price of the 440 jets was expected to be $85 million, the people said on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the negotiations publicly. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/exclusive-lockheed-nears-f-35-164019487.html
