Technical and fundamental and sentiment analysis are all components of what I study, but quantitative analysis is my major tools because it offers the most precision and accuracy. I mention it a lot regarding coin flips, but because it’s probability and statistics I don’t think it’s taken seriously here. Aside from subscriber count, I’ve alluded to growth velocity and more basic metrics like tracking ticker mentions ranked by my own technical/fundamental model for valuing company health in the near/mid/long term. Other’s I’ve not talked about like post/comment analytics for sophistication and sentiment like word complexity/technical jargon, active or passive syntax, etc. I started modelling the data in preparation to write about risk some time back. My Investment Notes for iAnthus Capital Holdings, Inc. (IAN/ITHUF)
I posted before with a link to my Onedrive notes. I didn't realize that is a TOS violation. Here are my notes, without any links or formatting. The notes are in latest date first chronological order. I am typically a long-term investor, and I am a portfolio manager. ITHUF is a .75% portfolio allocation for us, and our cannabis related investments are a ~7% allocation. These notes are not a recommendation, solicitation, or implication of any kind to invest in this company, or any cannabis or non-cannabis company. On my last post a poster mentioned my post was full of errors, and old data. I was not familiar with either, and would welcome constructive discussion. Here are my notes: May 1, 2018 (3.47) We trimmed our position by ~41\% today at a price of $3.5032 per share We sold just under 84K shares, and it took most of the day, and we had about 9% of our order not executed. The positive is we were able to sell with relative ease and pricing strength an amount that is about 11.2% of... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8i1ohl/my_investment_notes_for_iant...

The positive is we were able to sell with relative ease and pricing strength an amount that is about 11.2% of average daily volume. I suspect most our shares were bought by cannabis ETF’s. I believe these ETF’s are fueling the sector. I plan to keep the remaining positions for some time, but you never know. I do like having exposure to the USA sector. April 30, 2018 ($3.60) – Review of December 31, 2017 financials IAnthus released the year end financials on April 30, 2018. As the company is in an alleged hyper-growth mode, it is very difficult to analyze data that is 4 months old. Of course, we need to see March 31, 2018 financials.
