Conversation With Colin Clancy, IR at Harvest One
I just spoke with Colin Clancy, Investor Relations at Harvest One (HVT). There has been some uncertainty regarding their status with their recent appointment of a new CEO. Colin helped clarify some of the uncertainties: They have updated their corporate presentation recently to include their new executives. One thing I noticed immediately was that the estimated completion date of EOY 2018 was removed from their Lucky Lake and Aldergrove summary page. Colin mentioned that the new CEO, Grant Froese, would be conducting a thorough evaluation of their construction status, and anticipates that there will be a timeline released sometime in early August. Colin mentioned that the construction at the two facilities is full throttle nevertheless. Their current production capacity is 1,000 KG (Duncan Facility). Lucky Lake has 4 separate grow rooms, meaning that the facility does not have to be 100% completed for production to commence. Outdoor growing at their site in BC is anticipated to... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8xrx5s/conversation_with_colin_clan...

Provincial Supply Agreements with LPs
What are the details of these supply agreements? Are the LPs locked in to these quantities (are they guaranteed sales)? What price is each province paying? What products are going to be available? How are the taxes working? Is there a table that summarizes what each of the LPs have been awarded? Are LPs actually going to be able to meet the comittments they made (most seem like their facilities are still under construction)? Based on what I been reading, it's seeming like the rec market is going to be pretty tough - especially Quebec - if they're buying for $4 per gram and LPs have to pay a $1 tax on that it's going to get pretty tough to survive (let alone compete) . *Sorry if this is a repost, just been reading a lot of excitement over Alberta signing supply agreements and I'm having trouble understanding why everyone's so excited. Seems like the LPs can barely make a profit with a direct to consumer model in the current market, so they're going to get destroyed in the rec market?... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8xotae/provincial_supply_agreements...

CRON's Miraculous Overvaluation
Wanted to get this threads thoughts on CRON's unbelievable overvaluation that the market has now fully accepted. - They now carry a $1.7 billion market cap. Mr. Market has stabilized and said "ok we accept you at this level". This will probably turn into a 2+ billion market cap in short term. EDIT: Market cap already at $2 billion fully diluted. - To my knowledge, from all the supply deals announced, they have ZERO. Even tiny MC companies have some in place. - They have, in comparison to $1+ billion MC peers, a puny 40,000 kgs slated for 2019, with no additional announcements for 2020. - They have promoted the fact that their indoor production will lead to premium oils, although thats mostly a crock of BS since current extraction tech can utilize shake and mid-grade bud to produce premium oil, including the re-introduction of terpenes at any stage. In regards to edibles, consumers essentially have no ability to tell what quality bud went in as an ingredient. Thats a fact. Lastly,... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8wb00t/crons_miraculous_overvaluati...

This product itself has gotten enough attention that they were advised to enter into the Chalice Cup Competition coming up on July 13-15th in Victorville, California This product has gotten enough attention that it is grabbing the attention of celebrities, enough that they have taken tours of the facilities and possibly will be opening a LOI for their own products Cannastrip - An individually packaged tongue strip that your body processes at a much more rapid pace than the traditional edibles, also requiring lower dosage of THC as your body does not process it through your liver but burns it as calories into your... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8uln1o/a_dd_on_lifestyle_delivery_s...

Assets & Liabilities: A Real Evaluation Of The Major Companies
Combing through Canopy's financial statement led me to discuss some of the core fundamentals rather than fluff. At this point, every company has LOIs, and joint ventures international, but most of these press releases are just that, partnerships without a ton of money backing them. At this stage, really nobody knows which market is gonna be the next big one, could be Germany, could be Australia, could be Colombia. Really. Its too early to tell. In looking at true value of a company, we can't only look at funded capacity because these companies have also invested in different areas. A great way to compare current success is purely ASSETS, which includes facilities, cash, and investments. About the Molson partnership plans
I wanted to create a place for some good evidence based discussion. I know qualifiers are ACB and APH but I really wanted to get some more insight as to who else or which company is gonna get that contract. Personally I’m leading towards it being ACB even with all their dilution. As far as I know their Cannimed buyout gave them access to one of the the biggest oil producing facilities in Canada. People were saying at the time they would dominate the edibles industry. Does this still hold true? submitted by /u/Milli789 [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8tqjeq/about_the_molson_partnership...
