A Very Honest Review from a Heavy-User -- Broken Coast
I just want to start off by saying I haven't boasted about how much weed I smoke since I was in highschool. I simply ask you to keep that in mind when I say that I would estimate over the course of the last 20 years I have been high for 70% of my waking hours. This is just an average, as I would say it’s closer to 90% if we’re talking just the last 10 years or so. What can I say folks? I prefer being high to being sober. I can respect that most of you might not agree with some of my lifestyle choices, but I ask that you respect that I know what people are looking for when they buy the products you fine folks invest in. The only reason I mention my usage is so you can decide if my experience counts when you go over this review. I will also say that I tried Magic mushrooms a few times in my teens, and will use those experiences just as a reference for how 'high' I have been. It’s been about 25 years since I first tried marijuana, and I have never had anything legal until last week. Only... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8ze8o9/a_very_honest_review_from_a_...

Overall weedstocks have been good to me but I had my first experience of fear of missing out (FOMO). As a novice investor the lesson has been invaluable. I’m down ~58% on MRRCF (Maricann), SPLIF (Nutritional High), and HRVOF (Harvest One). I invested ~$2900 and now have ~$1200. At the time, early January of course, I had just sold my house and used some equity to invest. At this point I have two options: Option 1: Hold and sell when I can recover some of my loss. As we know in weedstocks this could be anywhere between Monday and never. I have no financial background so most of my DD comes from reading. I’m a self taught investor. The most dangerous... From what I understand, Maricann has a lot of assets and growth potential but has shitty management. The other two, well, like I said, I’m a novice and I made a mistake. I didn’t do appropriate DD and the only thing I know is I want to sell as soon as I’m close to even. The largest % (~65%) is in Maricann. The other two only total about... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8ytf73/sunken_cost_strategies/

3 Pharma Stocks Goldman Sachs Sees as Buys
Stagnant deal activity has investors "losing patience with the large cap pharma sector," according to a note from Goldman Sachs analyst Jami Rubin. Small- and mid-cap biotech companies are being valued at all time highs, and companies are staying away from new acquisitions for fear of paying high premiums for them, Rubin wrote. "Pharma management teams are facing investor pressure to put their capital to work, but balancing the risk of overpaying with the risk of doing nothing has led to low levels of deal activity thus far this year in our view," Rubin said. https://finance.yahoo.com/m/45b43a81-0cf4-34f8-b716-123519de7d7d/3-pharma-stocks...

WeedMD Investors - How are you intepreting the HIKU buyout?
WeedMD Investors - How are you intepreting the HIKU buyout? WeedMD has a lot going for it and is undervalued to peers on a number of important metrics - such as cash on hand, current production capacity, licensed oil sales, and domestic + international sales agreements and partnerships (such as with VIDA). HIKU had good retail exposure, and some impressive managers with retail experience, but few tangible assets and a number of cost centers - such as their retail locations in Ontario which will likely not be permitted to sell cannabis anytime soon. How do you think the HIKU buyout will affect WeedMD? Please provide a rationale for your vote in the comments. Vote Button Poll Options Current Vote Count Vote Very Positive - HIKU deal was going to be terrible for WeedMD 0 Votes Vote Positive - HIKU deal had some merits, but was somewhat overpriced and WMD will adapt retail strategies quickly 0 Votes Vote Neutral 0 Votes Vote Negative - WeedMD will struggle without the marketing and retail... https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/comments/8xwon8/weedmd_investors_how_are_you...
